Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken

Nothing quite evokes happy feelings of picnics and barbecue outdoors than the all-time favorite - fried chicken. Just like how Mom or Granny used to make.

Ingredients:

·         4 cups flour, divided

·         2 tablespoons crushed garlic and salt

·         3 teaspoons pepper

·         1 tablespoon paprika

·         2 eggs

·         1 cup water

·         2 fryer chickens, cut up into pieces o vegetable oil for deep frying

Procedure:

1.    In a plastic bag, combine 2 cups flour, garlic, salt and pepper and paprika. In a bowl, beat eggs and water,pepper, salt and remaining flour. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then place in the bag, one at a time. Seal the bag and swish around to coat completely.

2.    Heat oil to 375 degrees in a deep fryer. Fry chicken pieces for about 5 minutes on each side.

3.    Drain on paper towels and wait for 5 minutes more before serving. Serve with coleslaw salad.

4.    Do note that for this recipe, you will need to use a deep fryer to fearlessly deep fry the chicken. Hence, it's best that you invest in one so you can try this, as well as other deep fry recipes for the whole family.

Hall Of Fame Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:

·         12 ounces multi grain elbow macaroni

·         1 cauliflower, chopped

·         1/4 cup chopped parsley

·         4 tablespoons olive oil

·         salt and pepper

·         1 finely chopped onion

·         1 cup grated cheddar cheese

·         1 cup sour cream

·         1/3 cup milk

Procedure:

1.    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a big Dutch oven, heat water to cook the macaroni. Add the cauliflower during the last 2 minutes of cooking time.

2.    In a food processor, pulse the parsley, oil and salt and pepper.

3.    Remove macaroni and drain. In a saucepan with a little bit of oil, cook the onion with salt and pepper.

4.    Add the cauliflower, sour cream, milk and cheese.

5.    Transfer to a baking pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake for 12 minutes. Now eat.
